You can add the following content types to Lost Records Fans by clicking the 'Add [content type]' button on their listing pages:

You can also find the same Add buttons at the top of the subpages of your My Content section in the Dashboard:

The Overview page includes counts for each of the content types you've added, including an overall total count.

If applicable, you will also see your Most Favourited, Most Commented and Most Viewed posts.

Click the tabs at the top to view the individual pages for those content types. As well as counts and metrics for that content type you will see the content you've added of this type as a table listing. Below shows an example of the Screenshots table:

Along with the usual Search, Sort and Filter options you will see Action Buttons on each row of listed posts: Edit and Delete. Click the Edit button to be taken to the Edit page for that post. Click the Delete button to bring up the Delete modal:

Click Cancel to change your mind and close the modal or click Delete to confirm the deletion. The modal will close and the content will be deleted from the site and removed from the listing table.

You can also use the checkboxes on the left of each row to bulk select posts for deletion. Once you click more than one checkbox you will see the Bulk Delete options appear at the top:

Click Clear Selection to deselect all rows or click Delete to bring up the Bulk Delete modal:

You will see a confirmation message letting you know how many posts you are deleting. Press Cancel to change your mind and close the modal or click Delete All to close the modal and confirm the deletion. The modal will close and all of the selected content will be deleted from the site and removed from the listing table.

Please be patient if you are bulk deleting many posts at once, as it may take longer for all posts to be deleted and the table listing to be updated.

Add & Edit Forms

Each of the forms for adding the different types of content will have different fields, but will contain some or all of the following:

Text

Simple text fields for short inputs - usually used for Titles.

Text Area

Text fields for larger content - usually used for Descriptions or Summaries.

Rich Text Area

For longform content with additional formatting features such as Bold, Italics, Justify Options, Bullet Points, Numbered Bullet Points, Links, Image Embedding, and Video Embedding.

On some forms, you may see an Image icon in the toolbar in the header of a rich text editor:

Click it to bring up a modal:

The modal will default to the General tab. If you want to embed an image from an external site enter the full image URL in the Source field. You can also add an Alt description and limit the Width and Height using the fields.

If you want to upload an image instead, select the Upload tab from the side menu in the modal. You will see a different option:

Click the Browse button to browse your device for an image to upload. After uploading, you will be redirected to the General tab with the Source prefilled with the URL of the newly-uploaded image and you can continue to adjust any other options as usual:

Image Upload

Image uploads are usually used for the featured image of a post and in the case of Fan Art, Cosplay and Screenshots, represents the main content itself. Most of the Image Upload components are for single image uploads, but some will allow multiple uploads - see the Thoughts section below for more details about multiple image uploads.

If Image Upload is available, you will see a Select Image button:

Click it to open the Image Upload Modal:

Drag the image you want to upload to the dropzone area or click the Browse button to choose an image from your device. After selection, you will see a preview of the image:

Click the Upload button to complete the upload or press the Cancel button to cancel the operation.

Once an Image is uploaded, or when returning to edit a post that includes an Image, you will see a Remove Image button which you can click to remove the Image from the post and delete it from the database:

Select

A simple dropdown menu to select a single option from a list.

Multi-Select

Where multiple options can be selected a multi-select field will be used. When the dropdown area appears, some forms will also have a thumbnail image for each option. The Photo Mode filters on the Add/Edit Screenshot form is a good example:

You can hover over the thumbnail to see a larger version of the image:

When you select an option, each one will appear in the list with an X icon next to it:

Click the X icon on the option to remove individual options or click the X at the end of the select field to remove all selected options at once.

You can search for existing options in a list by typing. If the ability to create new options is available for this field, you will see a Create "[typed text]" message:

Simply click the message or press Enter to create the new option and automatically select it:

Since new options are added to the actual database, this option will now be available for everyone selecting from this field.

Radio Select

Select an option by clicking the box or the name of the option. This is for single selections only.

Switch Toggle

Select the toggle button to toggle an option on or off. The white switch thumb will be to the left and the switch itself will have a grey background when toggled off. The white switch thumb will be to the right and the switch itself will have a pink background when toggled on.
