Hello everyone! And here I am again. I apologize in advance for any errors in translation, as I am using a translator.
Today I would like to bring up the topic of ARG on Lost Records. Have you heard about it or perhaps even participated in it? If you haven't heard of ARG, please close my theory, as there may be spoilers!
I had completely forgotten about the existence of the ARG, but now my thoughts have expanded. In short, we follow a girl named Erin Walsh, who finds her mother Virginia Walsh's old computer after her death. This is where the investigation begins. Virginia had already investigated the strange events in Velvet Cove before her death, so she was already digging into this mystery. And this is where the real detective work begins. When players restore Virginia's computer, they find materials related to Movie Palace. Following the clues, the ARG players come across a message: "She disappeared. August 16, 1994." This immediately sparked an idea in my mind. What if Virginia didn't die at all, but went missing instead? In addition, this clue makes it clear that the strange events in Velvet Cove took place long before the main game, Lost Records. Of course, this is hinted at not only by the ARG, but also by the newspaper clipping in the Blue Spruce bar near the pool table, which states that a man went missing in the forests of Velvet Cove in 1975 and returned 20 years later without any signs of aging. Now, a little bit about Pam. In ARG, Pam also gets an important role in my opinion. We are given to understand that Virginia and Pam were acquainted long before the events with the girls in 1995. In fact, this gives me a lot of hope for the continuation of the story. Not only does Lost Records have an open ending, but Pam, who has long been familiar with the mystery in Velvet Cove, has not been fully developed as a character.
In fact, I would like to know the backstory of the "Lost Records." I am curious about the strange things that Pam has seen in the woods, and I would like to learn more about her story. Additionally, I am interested in learning about the origin of the Abyss, whether it can be stopped, and whether it is necessary to do so. How did the man in 1995 manage to escape from the Velvet Cove Woods? Did he see the Abyss or anything else? Who is Celine, and why does she appear in Cat's dreams? What was that blue glow that appeared after Kat played with the knife, and then the same blue glow in the deer's eyes?
