Hello 👋 First of all, this isn't related to the recent news about Dontnod's financial struggle or any new announcement.
I just wanted to transcribe some answers from Dontnod's Q&A video from two months ago and there are other interviews and replies over different social media, if you want to check them out. However, these are the most recent, official informations I could find regarding the game and its possible direction for the future, along with some interesting tidbits. So this post is for the fans who hasn't watched the video yet or don't feel like watching the whole thing. Read it if you finished the game and would like some more explanations!
Keep in mind that Michel Koch(director) didn't want to reveal too much informations and some of these sound pretty ambiguous. It's understandable because Dontnod isn't working on the next Lost Records yet. Also these aren't exactly word for word because I wrote down as I was watching it, but I tried not to change any meaning.
A possible sequel?
They(Dontnod) don't think it'll be called Tape 3. They want to go back to the story - what happens to the girls and Celine. Also more about Dylan and the package. They're currently working on a different project with Netflix and want to go back to Lost Records afterwards.
Who is Celine?
She was a girl living with her family and some of them were part of miners who found the Abyss for the first time. There are some important links between Celine and Kat.
Kat's knife
Swann finding Kat's knife along with the paper that tells her how to open the cabin's door hints at a time loop. It also links to the dark figures(I'm assuming shadows) of people who were into the Abyss.
Why does Kat look different in the video tape from the ending ?
Kat we see at the end is not exactly the same Kat. She's the version of Kat within the Abyss.
Shadows
The location where the shadow of Corey, Kat, and Swann appears is related to what exactly is happening in the Abyss.
Nora's marriage
Nora loves to give the impression that she has a perfect life going on, but not everything's going perfectly. The hints such as Nora's wife wanting her to sign on something from the text message were purposefully put without telling the whole story, but Michel thinks we read them through correctly(on whether she's getting a divorce).
Nora's ethnicity
Her father is Armenian American.
Fire in the game vs. trailer
The fire in Tape 2 initially happened in a different way than what we got in the game, hence why it looks different in the reveal trailer. It was due to the lack of time to fix the story before they had to reveal the trailer. 👇

And... that's all for now. Hopefully this was an interesting read! And I hope that Dontnod will survive as an independent studio. Perhaps their Netflix game will help them? Let us hope that they'll be able to continue the story of Lost Records in future because they clearly want to explore more and continue as a series.
I apologize for any translation errors, as I am from a different country.
This post will be about a lot of love and gratitude for my sister. I remember when I first told her about this game, she immediately supported me and even fell in love with Nora.
I remember when DONT NOD hadn't yet released their collaboration with Insert Coins, my sister made me a handmade birthday present. She sent me a box inspired by the game Lost Records, knowing how much I loved it. I even created a mini corner dedicated to all the Lost Records merchandise. Today, I decided to share my collection of Lost Records merchandise.
In this post, I want to say that it is important to love and appreciate the people around you. People who care about your interests, feelings, and dreams. My sister and I also created our own fanfiction, which you can read here: https://ficbook.net/readfic/019a85c3-8212-7210-b2ca-251c52f93563 . We would love to find a translator into English so that more people can read our masterpiece.
Christina Lost Records Fans, thank you for supporting me in everything. If you met Nora in real life, you would probably do all sorts of things and definitely become best friends! 🖤
I would also like to express my gratitude to the developers of this beautiful website. I have found many like-minded people and those who truly understand and support me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to develop my full creative potential. In particular, to Chris Lost Records Fans💜
Thank you for your attention to detail, you are the best! Thank you all guys! See you in hell! 🎸
P.S.: My sister and I are twins, so we have a special bond. By the way, in this photo, I've included all the gifts she sent me. On the cassette, which is near the PS5 disc, is Nora's last song at the bar when she is an adult. And the bracelet you see on my hand was also made by Christina. This gift made me cry and is very dear to my heart.

Olivia Lepore won her award for her performance as Swann Holloway. I really enjoyed her voice acting and am glad Lost Records is getting some recognition it deserves 💜
I am leaving an honest review about the game. I apologize in advance for any possible errors in translation. I am from a different country.
"Lost Tapes: Bloom & Rage" truly captured my heart! The game is a 10 out of 10 masterpiece that everyone should play.
The game's atmosphere is a 10 out of 10 💽
At first, the game may seem a bit dull and long-winded, but the 90s vibe and the incredible friendship between the characters will captivate anyone. The developers have done an incredible job, as the locations are not just beautiful but also "alive." The beach, the Whispering Forest, the Blue Spruce bar, and even Swann's room take you back to a time of youth and serenity.
The characters and the story - 10 out of 10 🌠
The story is the heart of the game. The plot is emotional, deep, and sometimes painful. I would like to emphasize that it is "DON'T NOD" if you reveal yourself to each character individually, in your own way. Each character in this story is unique, with their own fears, hobbies, and dreams. Finally, he made me cry, as he did for many people who produced "Lost Records: Bloom & Rage".
Music - 10 out of 10 🎼
Ruth Radelet and Nora Kelly Band are masters of their craft. I want to highlight how well the music is chosen for each moment in the game. Some of the songs give me a pleasant shiver and, of course, I couldn't resist, and now all the game's soundtracks have become my favorites.
"Lost Records: Bloom & Rage" is a game that makes you want to erase your memory and play it again. This story leaves a certain aftertaste, making you think about important things in life. I strongly recommend it!
See You in Hell! 💜🎸
She is always with you
Kat walks by your side as if she knows your shadows and yet chooses to stay.
She makes no sound, but her presence lights up the corners where the sun never reaches.
Sometimes she speaks with her eyes, as if she held within them all the answers you haven’t yet dared to ask.
And when she smiles, time stands still just long enough for you to remember that you are not alone.
There is an invisible thread that has bound you together since before you knew how to name it, a shared heartbeat that pulses even in the silence.
And though the path may break, though the forest may change shape and the abyss call to you once more, she is still there, steadfast as a promise that needs no swearing.
For there are loves that do not end, they merely transform into a gentle presence, into a whispering companion, into a burning certainty: Kat is always with you.
